Paz Cabo
My name is Paz Cabo and I have run Weekend Coffee & Spanish Courses and Events in Glasgow and Edinburgh since 2019. I am a professional Spanish linguist with many years of tutoring and language consultancy experience. I studied my Degree in Hispanic Philology, and my Masters in Spanish Linguistics & Literature and Hispanic Philology. Awarded Outstanding and Cum Laude, I completed professional Courses in Spanish for Specific Purposes, Cognitive Strategies to learn Language, Spanish Art and Culture and Linguistics.
MA studies in TV Fiction Scriptwriting at Caledonia University (Glasgow).
I am also a writer, singer-songwriter, passionate about stories, music and lyrics.
I came up with this idea when I lived in Bristol, where I ran a successful Tapas and Spanish Events business. After a while, I decided to come back to Spain to get more inspiration and to update my experience with new courses and training. I moved to Scotland in July 2019 and based myself in Glasgow. Today I run popular Spanish courses in Edinburgh (Leith & Portobello), and East Lothian (Haddington, Aberlady, Dunbar, North Berwick...). My business provides an enriched learning environment that has helped countless students and organisations get ahead. I offer Communicative and Cultural Spanish Lessons (all levels) in cafes and bars in Edinburgh and East Lothian. I also offer Spanish Events throughout the year.
